Training and VETASSESS
Apart from completing a recognised law degree/diploma, as set out on the Qualifications and Education page, you can achieve the qualifications for a full licence by:
- successfully completing the necessary competencies at a registered training organisation; or
- passing a VETASSESS assessment indicating demonstrated competency in subject matter covered by the national standard.
Registered Training Organisations
A list of registered training organisations that offer the necessary conveyancing competencies is available at the National Training Information Service website. You can search by competency code, training provider name or a list of registered training organisations.
You can also contact your nearest training provider to see if they offer the appropriate training or check with an industry organisation listed in section six of the Guide for Conveyancers.
