The Introduction Agents Act 1997 and the Introduction Agents Regulations 2008 are designed to protect members of the public by outlining how introduction agents must conduct business.
The Fair Trading Act 1999 also outlines for all businesses what constitutes misleading or deceptive conduct as well as unfair contract terms. These laws also apply to Introduction Agents.
