Owners Corporation Managers

The Owners Corporations Act 2006, regulates who may be registered to work as an Owners Corporation Manager for fee or reward, in Victoria.

Who is an Owners Corporation Manager?

An Owners Corporation Manager is someone appointed by the owners corporation, to carry out its functions in managing and administering the common property, including maintenance and repairs, collecting fees, maintaining insurance and keeping financial records.

Registration

Any person or company carrying out the functions of an Owners Corporation Manager for a fee or reward, in Victoria must be registered with the BLA.

Applying for Registration

To register as an Owners Corporation Manager, select the appropriate application form from the Online Applications menu.

Fees

GST is not applicable to the following fee's

Application Fee: $166.70
Annual Registration Fee: $117.00

Penalties

If you, alone or in a partnership, carry out any function as the manager of an owners corporation for fee or reward without being registered with the BLA, significant penalties apply.
