Guidance and Legal Advice

It is recommended that you read the BLA's Prostitution Service Provider Guide if you need further guidance about whether you can claim an exemption from requiring a licence. If still in doubt, get your own legal advice, to determine if you are eligible to register as an exempt prostitution service provider.

To register as an exempt prostitution service provider, select the registration form from the Online Applications menu.This form contains the prescribed particulars the BLA requires under section 24 of the Prostitution Control Act 1994.

Landlord’s Consent Form	This form must be completed by the landlord of any premises that a exempt brothel is proposed to be operated from.
