Travel Agents Public Register

The Travel Compensation Fund (TCF) provides an on-line search of licensed travel agents that are members of the TCF.

If you want to know about a Victorian travel agent's licence status, please contact the BLA. Alternatively the BLA's public register of licensed travel agents is available for inspection at the BLA's premises by appointment. Please note that it is not yet available online.

For general information on public registers including the disclaimer, review of the BLA's decisions and requests for bulk public register information please refer to the public registers page.

The requirement to establish a Travel Agents Register is outlined in section 15 of the Travel Agents Act 1986.

The Travel Agents Register is maintained to provide public access to information about licensed travel agents in Victoria, and record the names of people or companies disqualified from holding a licence.

The Register consists of the following information:

  • name and licence number
  • date licence granted, surrendered, cancelled or suspended
  • licence conditions
  • details of any Tribunal or court orders affecting the licence of which the Registrar has notice
  • business address and telephone numbers
  • business names
  • if licensee is a corporation, the names of the directors
  • name of any partners in partnership within the licensee
  • ABN
  • Website address.
